Curriculum Vitae


Formation. In 1966, George Jandieri finished secondary school in Tbilisi with a Gold medal. In 1966 -1971 he continued his studding at the Tbilisi State University where he graduated with honors, Theoretical Physics. In 1978, he defended his Candidate thesis in the special field of Radio-physics at the Tbilisi State University. In 1979, G. Jandieri was awarded a candidate degree in physical-mathematical sciences by The Highest Certifying Commission of the USSR. He defended his doctoral thesis in Radio Physics-Plasma physics in 1989 at the Kharkov State University, Ukraine. The authority of this scientific council was determined by an active participation of the famous physicist-theoretician, a Nobel Prize winner Academician, Lev Landau. George Jandieri was awarded the honorary title of a Senior Scientific Worker (1990), a Doctor’s degree of Physics-Mathematic Sciences (1991), and the honorary title of Professor (1991) by The Highest Certifying Commission of the USSR.

PATENTS

Career.
 1995-Present Prof. George Jandieri is full professor at the Georgian Technical University. He is Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Cybernetics of the Georgian Academy of Science (1971-1995), Leading Scientist (1995-2005) and Chief Scientist (2006-present) of the Institute of Cybernetics. Prof. George Jandieri has been full professor at the Radio-Physics-Plasma Physics Department at the Rustaveli State University since inception 1990-2009 and founded “Radio-Physics” module.
Membership. Prof. George Jandieri is the Academician of the Georgian Ecology of Science; member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) since 1998. In 1999-2006 he was an expert of the International Association for the Promotion of Cooperation with Scientists from the Independent States of the Former Soviet Union (INTAS) in Europe; since 2012 he is Euro-Expert. In 2003-2005, 2012-2013 he was foreign expert for the Italian Scientific Projects and in 2005 was certified as The Highest Category International Expert. In 1998, George Jandieri was elected as the Deputy Director General of “Who’s Who in the World” in Europe (office is located in London, University of Cambridge). He was awarded diplomas and a medal from this Organization as well as international certificates.
Publications: Prof. George Jandieri is the author of two monographs: “Turbulence in Neutral and Conducting Layers of the Atmosphere” (1998) (in Russian) and “Wave Propagation and Radiation in Chaotically Non-stationary Media” (1999) (in Russian). Prof. George Jandieri has published 300 scientific papers in the referred scientific journals and proceedings of the international conferences.
